WGOSA 2010 Has Begun

WGOSA 2010 began on (revised) schedule promptly on December 10.The combatants are defending champion Roman Khorkov, Axel Thue Co-champion Josh Jordan + Aunt Beast, James Cook + Homemade Software, and Danny Purvis: i.e. the same crew from Axel Thue with the exception that James has gone over to the dark side. Parameters are n<=30 with normal and misere serves allowed, and - here's a sprightly change - a time control of 48 hours rather than the standard 72. The tournament is a round robin of simultaneous 2-game matches between each pair of contestants, 12 games in all.
